Are you passionate about firearms and providing excellent customer service? Chehalis Outfitters is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic firearm salesman to join our team. As a firearm salesman, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the right firearms, ammunition, and hunting supplies to meet their needs. From rifles and pistols to shotguns and accessories, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers have a positive experience in our store.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting firearms, ammunition, and hunting supplies. Also assist customers in other areas of the sporting goods department.
- Educate customers on the features and specifications of various firearms and accessories.
- Process firearm sales transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking merchandise and arranging displays.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and changes in firearms laws and regulations.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving shipments and conducting regular stock checks.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in firearm sales or a strong knowledge of firearms is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with state and federal firearms laws and regulations is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain any required licenses or certifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.17 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
