The Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy. The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.
Position: Field Play Assistant
Location: Community Education Summer Program
Assist the Field Play Supervisor with Field Play events which runs for 4 consecutive Tuesdays, beginning on July 8, 2025 through August 5, 2025 (which has been built-in as a rain date). Hours on the field each week are from 6:00 pm- 7:30 pm.
* Assist in facilitating the field schedule, age-appropriate activities for each week.
* Brainstorm ways to improve the program.
* Assist Supervisor in training coaching staff. Each week you have fifteen minutes with staff before participants arrive. Facilitate having staff assist in taking out and putting away equipment.
* Prepare student groups and staff assignments prior to the start of the season.
* Assist in managing the staff to ensure the program is being implemented properly and the staff is paired up to deliver the best program possible for the children,
* Perform other duties as required or directed.
