Position:Long-Term Substitute Preschool Special Education Teacher
Assignment Dates: 04/28/2025- 06/25/2025 (Dates are subject to change)
Location: CHIPS
Description: DESE licensed teacher for a substantially separate preschool classroom. The preschool classroom is a setting that serves children with identified disabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Experience working with Special Education population.
* Certification in Early Childhood Education AND Moderate Disabilities preferred.
* Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) approach and techniques preferred.
* Experience working with preschool aged children with and without disabilities.
* Evaluating children to determine eligibility for special education
* Developing and implementing IEPs in a substantially separate classroom setting
* Data collection and writing of progress notes for students.
* Lesson planning and implementation
* Collaborations with colleagues, including staff meetings and professional development
* Other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the position and as assigned by the preschool coordinator.
Salary : $200
