Maintenance Technician Job Description:
The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. This position will mostly focus on maintenance of the extrusion machines.
Maintenance Technician Schedule Options:
1. 8- hour shift, Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 430 PM
2. 12- hour shift following a 2-2-3 schedule, 9 AM- 9 PM or 9 PM - 9 AM
Maintenance Technician Job Requirements:
- Familiar with 3-phase, 480v electricity (***REQUIRED***)
- Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics (***REQUIRED***)
- Electronic troubleshooting skills (***REQUIRED***)
- Must have a positive attitude, be coachable, and look for ways to improve job processes
- Must be reliable and have good attendance /communication skills
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Understands basic principles of electricity
