Chelsea Home Healthcare (CHH) is a respite and personal support provider for the North Suncoast region (Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Manatee counties). CHH is a health caregiving company devoted to providing excellent professional, compassionate, and dedicated care to our clients.

Chelsea Home Healthcare is always in need of experienced caregivers – Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and a Registered Nurse (RN). Currently, CHH has an urgent requirement for an experienced CNA in the Zephyrhills area of the Florida Suncoast region. The client is a verbal woman who uses a wheelchair.

Major responsibilities:

• Giving the client a bath
• Giving medication
• Scheduled feeding
• Moving client in and out of wheelchair-using Hoya Lift
• Companionship

Note that CHH has multiple and variety of work opportunities, so, we are looking for a variety of nursing professionals with the following hierarchy of nursing –

• HHA
• CNA
• LPN
• RN

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
• Observe and interpret the client’s symptoms and communicate them to the nursing provider
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for our clients
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, oxygen level monitoring, etc.) and fill in clients’ charts
• Adjust and administer clients’ medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
• Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds, etc.)
• Provide instant emergency medical care
• Assist surgeons during operations
• RN – supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for clients and their families
• Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, CBTs, conferences, etc.

Skills

• Proven experience as a registered nurse
• Excellent knowledge of personal support care methods and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of emergency care
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to always follow them
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible and compassionate
• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
• Certification from a nursing program
• Valid CMA, LPN, or RN license
