CHG’s latest project in Morristown, NJ involves managing multiple food and beverage outlets within a sustainably built, mixed-use property. These outlets include a ground-floor restaurant, conference catering, pantry services, and pop-up concepts.
Job Overview:
We’re seeking a motivated Conference Catering Attendant to assist with catering operations and meeting room setups in a brand new, sustainably-designed office building. In this role, you’ll focus on ensuring seamless food and beverage service for meetings and events, maintaining conference rooms and pantries. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working in a fast-paced environment and delivering excellent hospitality.
What You’ll Do:
- Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests
- Set up, maintain, and clean up catered meals, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, beautiful presentation, and attention to detail.
- Stay informed and knowledgeable of all menu items and proper mise to accompany each dish
- Prepare and organize conference rooms as well as other workplace hospitality venues
- Maintain the high standards of cleanliness and proper appearance throughout all areas of the workplace hospitality venues
- Collaborate with culinary, facilities, and IT teams to ensure meetings and events are setup for success and run smoothly
- Maintain an inventory of catering and conference room supplies, restocking as needed.
- Restock and maintain workplace pantries, ensuring cleanliness and availability of refreshments and supplies
What We Need From You:
- An eagerness to continue to learn and grow
- A strong hospitality mindset with great attention to detail
- Experience in a guest-facing hospitality role preferred, but not necessary
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction as needed
- Available to work 6am to 6pm, Monday through Friday with flexibility to occasionally work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds
- English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required
