About the Opportunity
is seeking multiple enthusiastic and skilled Seasonal Camp Hockey Coaches to join our team for the summer! Our hockey program provides campers of all skill levels with structured coaching, skill development, and a fun, engaging environment. Coaches will lead on-ice and off-ice training sessions while fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, and a love for the game. Primary Responsibilities:
- Coach and instruct campers in hockey fundamentals, drills, and game strategies.
- Supervise and ensure the safety of campers during on-ice and off-ice activities.
- Provide positive reinforcement and skill-building techniques to encourage player development.
- Assist with planning and organizing daily hockey sessions, games, and scrimmages.
- Collaborate with fellow coaches and camp staff to create a fun and inclusive environment.
- Monitor and manage equipment, ensuring proper use and storage.
- Act as a mentor and role model, promoting good sportsmanship and teamwork.
Schedule: Camp starts on June 9th and ends on August 29th. We are looking for coaches who can work multiple weeks during this period from 8:15am-4:15pm. You do not have to be available every week of camp to be hired.
Compensation: Starting at $25/hour, depends on experience
Qualifications:
- Previous coaching or playing experience in hockey (youth, high school, college, or higher).
- Experience working with children in a camp, coaching, or instructional setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced camp environment.
Salary : $25
