5DP ONLY - Teachers
TITLE: 5DP PD Day Follow up Learning Session Facilitators (3-10 positions)
LOCATION: Various (including online and hybrid formats)
REPORTS TO: Rebecca Wilusz
GENERAL DUTIES:
Design and propose follow up learning to the related session from the November PD Day based on participant feedback. Sessions can be 1 to 4 hours of facilitated learning.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educator presenters from Chelsea, Revere or Winthrop public schools
Able to design and provide professional learning to address feedback from November PD Day sessions
Presenting related to identified areas of learning (technology tools, classroom foundations for respectful dialogue on sensitive topics, MLL instruction and support)
COMPENSATION:
Compensation is set to $50/hr for presentation/workshop time with other educators.
Preparation time will be compensated at half time to presentation time [for example, for a 1 hour learning session, .5 hrs of preparation time will be paid; for a 2 hour learning session, 1 hour of preparation time will be paid, etc. up to a maximum of 6 total hours (4 hours of learning session time and 2 hours of preparation time)].
