What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stipend – PD: English Learner Parent Advisory Council (ELPAC) (Districtwide) (SY24-25) position at Chelsea Public Schools?

LOCATION: TBD
REPORTS TO: Dr. Tamara Blake-Canty, Assistant Superintendent. Dr. Alberto Carrero and Alma Pezo, MLE Director and Assistant Director
GENERAL DUTIES: Team members will collaborate with each other in order to develop and execute a plan for engaging parents in the CPS ELPAC and co-facilitate the ELPAC meetings with the MLE Director and Assistant Director. Team members will meet once per month for the 2023-2024 school year in order to work in the logistics and outcomes for the remaining ELPAC meeting for this year. Also, the team will facilitate at least 5 meetings for the school year 2023
-24.
QUALIFICATIONS: This post is intended for internal applicants only, ALL staff who are willing to be part of organizing and facilitating ELPAC meetings, who have knowledge of multilingual education, or work with multilingual learners are invited to apply.
