Role and Responsibilities:
Shore Educational Collaborative is hiring a Special Education Teacher to educate Middle School-Aged students with Autism and/or other developmental disabilities.-
Provide specialized instruction to address the instructional goals and objectives contained within each student’s IEP while addressing grade-level content standards with modifications and accommodations as necessary.

Utilize positive reinforcement, behavior modification, and classroom routines to shape positive behaviors and create an inclusive safe environment where learning can occur both academically and socially/emotionally.

Implement a collaborative relationship with each student’s service providers.

Maintain regular communication with the families of students in your classroom regarding their progress.

Develop and implement Individual Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) where necessary.
Teachers in Educational Collaboratives participate in the Massachusetts Teachers' Retirement System.
Salary : $56,965 - $112,435
