Our company has a client that is seeking a Microsoft 365 Systems Architect in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Overview
This is a specialized Systems Architect with specific knowledge on Microsoft 365. The Microsoft 365 knowledge is focused on functional capabilities, integration architecture, security, and performance for building high performance solutions based upon 365 and Microsoft technologies. This role will be responsible for providing technical leadership in the design, documentation, and review of technology solutions that meet the business and IT needs of the organization. The Microsoft 365 Systems Architect will also be responsible for providing technical leadership for projects and will be accountable for the end-to-end solutions, support, and delivery. Additionally, this individual will be the focal and escalation point for all technical and technical delivery issues on the effort. This role drives the collaboration with all technology stakeholders including IT teams (Security, Operations, App Dev), technology partners and vendors to ensure that the technical participants are effectively communicating and aligned on technical deliverables. This role does not have direct reports but does lead cross-functional technical resources to deliver on desired outcomes.
Required Skills : * 5 years of experience with 365 architecture, implementation, security, performance, and scaling * 5 years of experience with 365 functional capabilities * 5 years of experience with Azure PaaS platform and components for designing/architecting solutions * The Architect must understand the Azure platform services that work/integrate with 365 and Security solutions and services (examples include Power Automate, Azure components/services for integration/security) * The ideal Architect has experience with integrating 365 with Best of Breed platforms for Cloud based Applications and IT Security solutions * Ideal candidate has strong hand-on knowledge of PowerShell * Ideal candidate has implemented, and performance tuned 365 environments for enterprise class company * Understanding of different Project Management Methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile) * Possess strong technical and SDLC experience * Scripting/Programming Languages: .Net, C#, PHP, jQuery, and Azure Power Platform * Communication Methods/Protocols: HTTP, TCP/IP, SFTP, SSH, FTP, and SMTP * Middleware: Azure (Paas) Tools * Messaging Services: SOAP/REST, XML, JSON, and EDI * Databases: Azure SQL Server, SQL Server, and Oracle * Cloud: Azure PaaS, Amazon Web Services (AWS); RedHat Ansible * Version Control Repositories: Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Visual Studio * Organizational skills * Strong leadership capabilities and presence * Attention to detail * Creative problem-solving abilities * Coaching, mentoring, and influencing * Excellent communication skills
