Responsibilities

• SAP Data Analyst will extract and validate data from S4HANA and SAP ECC system to meet business requirements
• Develop, run, and manage BusinessObjects (BOBJ) reports to ensure accurate data reporting
• Transform extracted data and load it efficiently into a PostgreSQL database, ensuring data integrity and optimization
• Interpret and understand R scripts, with the ability to convert them to Python as required for various data analysis and processing tasks
• Perform data analysis to support business operations, decision making, and strategic initiatives
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and data engineering, to ensure seamless data flow and integration
• As a SAP Data Analyst, you will conduct regular data quality assessments and implement necessary measures to maintain and improve data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
• Develop, document, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, methodologies, and best practices
• Provide support and training to end-users and stakeholders on data extraction, reporting tools, and analytical methodologies
• Stay updated with advancements in SAP software, data analytics technologies, and industry best practices to continuously enhance data analysis capabilities
  
  

Required Skills : * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field * Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP data analysis, with a focus on both S4HANA and SAP ECC systems * Strong experience working with PostgreSQL databases, including data transformation and loading techniques * Advanced knowledge of R and Python, with the ability to convert R scripts to Python for seamless data processing * Good understanding of SAP Exchange Infrastructure (XI) * Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) reporting and ETL processes * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail * High proficiency in SQL and database management * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills: * Experience in the energy sector or utility industry * Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI * Understanding of data governance and compliance standards * Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
