Our company is teaming with a client to hire a SCADA analyst. The right candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working with a SCADA system. In this role you will respond to alerts, perform root cause analyst on technical issues, troubleshoot and configure the system to ensure the readings on equipment match the readings in the SCADA system. Must have excellent communications skills, will be working with operator teams across the country and have a problem-solving mindset. Candidates must have an understanding of corporate IT infrastructure including administration of servers, services, licenses and SCADA equipment. Must have an understanding of database design and data querying.
Required Skills : Experience working in an IT setting, including managing change requests and help desk tickets and implementing a secure application environment. Experience working in a field setting with vendors and staff. Working with SCADA databases, including database design and querying. Oil and gas industry experience. Upstream, Midstream or both.
