Responsibilities:

• Confirm all items on order are present, accurately counted, and properly documented
• Package equipment using appropriate packaging methods including boxing, palletizing, and crating
• Ensure all products are securely packed to prevent damage during transit
• Weigh shipments and document package weight and sizes to determine freight class
• Label and mark packages with shipping details, handling instructions, and product information
• Load packaged shipments onto freight trailers using a forklift, ensuring secure placement for transport
• Provide backup equipment assembly support when required
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to Chem-Aqua Safety Policy
• Complete special tasks set forth by the Inventory Supervisor

Requirements:

SKILLS

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office a plus.

PHYSICAL

• Must have physical strength and ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry such a weight for 100 feet.
• Must have good visual ability for close-up observations
• Must have good depth perception and ability to distinguish different colors.
• Must have hearing sufficient to hear verbal and audible signals at a moderate distance.
• Must be conditioned to sustain work in a manufacturing environment that ranges in temperature from 55oF to 95oF.

OTHER

• High School or equivalent
• Must have a valid Georgia State Driver's License.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Must have writing ability sufficient to write correspondence.
• Must have good communication skills to work cooperatively with company employees.
