Process Technology Engineer
Responsibilities
- Create, develop, plan, and manage new process technology projects.
- Focus on improving pilot scale capabilities with an emphasis on continuous processes.
- Provide an interface between technology, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
- Create detailed design work and engineering plans for new processes, with an emphasis on health, safety, and environment (HSE) aspects.
- Prepare cost estimates and justifications for new technology projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, research, and development teams to support, train, and problem-solve.
- Investigate opportunities to improve safety, risk management, efficiency, sustainability, and performance of existing processes and systems, either independently or as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience with industrial chemical processes is highly desirable.
- AutoCAD or other CAD experience is desired.
- Chemical research and development laboratory experience.
- Experience with industrial automation.
- Experience in Operational Excellence concepts is desired.
