What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Processing Coordinator position at CHEMCUT Corporation?
POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Processing Coordinator reviews reports detailing actual labor versus standard labor used in the manufacture of Chemcut equipment. He/she creates Current Operations/Item Planning Codes based drawing evaluation and “Items Where Used” (or other appropriate database queries). This position also analyzes the cost of Part Numbers to develop Selling Prices for parts sold on customer orders.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with quotes from outside vendors and outsource suppliers
- Aid in the design and manufacturability of parts and assemblies
- Act as a back-up resource for customer service sales of parts; be knowledgeable in all aspects of spare parts sales processes.
- Be integral to the materials planning group and be knowledgeable in the other positions in this group.
- Act as back-up for the purchasing function as well as the order entry position.
- Develop proper procedures to improve processes in manufacturing departments to ensure a consistent, efficient, and cost effective process in the manufacture of Chemcut parts and products.
- Aid in the justification of new capitol equipment to be considered for process implementation or improvements.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Minimum of Associates Degree in STEM or 5 year’s experience in Chemcut manufacturing processes.
- Thorough knowledge of Chemcut equipment
- Experience with Materials Requirements Planning or equivalent ERP system functions
- Computer literate and proficient with MS Office.
- Experience with integrating systems and processes used in the manufacture of Chemcut equipment.·Proficient in understanding engineering drawings.
- Experience in quoting new parts and products

- Must be able to access all areas of the facility to determine needs.
