Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon, invites applications for a full-time, 172-day Business faculty position. Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Business Administration-----OR-----
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management, Financial Management or a closely related field that includes 24 graduate-level subject area quarter credits

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using a learning management system for teaching online/hybrid courses and other distance technologies
- Experience teaching or training adults and individuals from diverse backgrounds in educational or business settings
- Proficiency with office productivity suites and various software packages, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience teaching accounting courses
- Experience teaching business management courses
- Experience teaching office-related courses, such as Office Procedures, Office Management, Records Management, Customer Service, Desktop Publishing, Keyboarding, Business English, Proofreading and Editing
- Possession of special licenses or certifications, such as CPA, CMA, CGFM, CIA, EA, or CFP, or experience with computerized accounting systems
- Industry experience in procurement and supply chain management
- Three years of relevant work experience in the accounting field, office administration, or business
- Bilingual English/Spanish
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
- This is a 100%, 10-month faculty assignment of the F9 band and grade
- All positions at Chemeketa are required to be available for work onsite as requested by the college.
- Requires flexible work schedule to meet program needs, which may include evenings and/or weekends
- This position may require the use of your personal vehicle for transportation between campus locations
- If requested, you must supply official transcripts within 30-days of hire
- Employees must maintain Oregon, Washington or Idaho residency as a condition of employment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Even though weight lifted may be negligible, it may be rated light work if frequent walking and/or standing is required.
