We are seeking a highly organized and patient-focused dental assistant to join our team. This candidate will be doctors right hand when treating our patients, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Although dental assisting experience is helpful, it is not necessary. Current x-ray license, CPR and RDA license is a must. Coronal polish, sealant & nitrous certification a BIG Plus.
Duties include but not limited to
- Communicate with patients about diagnosis treatment & answer questions
- Discuss services we provide with patients, such as Inviaglin, implants, bleaching
- Document medical history, vitals and review chart notes
- Sterilization of instruments, set up & tear down of operatories
- Assist the dentist in treatment
- Follow all OSHA & HIPPA compliances
- Schedule follow up appointments
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a dental or office environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using office equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in all communications.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
