What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Planner/BOM Builder position at Chemical Containers. Inc.?
Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Lake Wales, Florida, Chemical Containers, also known as CCI, has been providing services for over 40 years. We offer innovative custom equipment for storing and applying liquid chemicals, including sprayer trucks, skid sprayers, and other maintenance equipment. We also have retail stores located throughout Florida along with locations in Georgia and South Carolina. Our machine shop at CCI headquarters fabricates custom parts in-house to specifically suit the equipment we build. Due to the growth of the company, we are searching for someone who shares our passion for quality, safety, and continuous improvement in their work.
Production Planner/Scheduler Assistant:
- Prepare and get production jobs ready for the manufacturing process'
- BOM building experience REQUIRED
- Basic understanding of Manufacturing Process'
- work w/purchasing to procure materials
- keep up w/open jobs and work together with other production staff to keep flow of jobs moving
- Work in WIP and close all work order related jobs. Not Limited to CCIFIRE
- Work with others to implement adding steel to inventory into ERP program (Macola)
- Work with engineering to make sure jobs have proper drawings.
- Take pictures of completed jobs for future needs
- Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, Engineering or equilevient.
· 5 years' experience in manufacturing, supply chain management, or related
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to evaluate and analyze data to enable operational decision-making or present clear recommendations to leadership.
· Passionate and high energy, with the diplomacy and cooperative style necessary to positively influence others
· Capability to lift and move boxes of product up to 50 lbs.
