Bench Chemist Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct chemical experiments and analyze chemical reactions
• Prepare and test various chemical samples
• Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records
• Collaborate with other scientists and researchers on project goals
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
• Develop new analytical methods and techniques
• Interpret data and prepare technical reports
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Assist in troubleshooting laboratory issues
• Contribute to the preparation of publications and presentations

Bench Chemist Qualifications & Skills

• Advanced degree in Chemistry or related field
• Experience in a laboratory or research environment
• Familiarity with specialized laboratory equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and safety protocols
• Experience with analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, and spectroscopy
• Basic computer skills for data analysis and reporting
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to follow detailed protocols and procedures

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• § Bachelor of Chemistry with (5) five years experience
• § Advanced degree in Chemical Sciences with two (2) years experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
