We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting scientific research and laboratory operations. Duties
- Conduct laboratory tests and experiments following established protocols and procedures.
- Analyze samples using various laboratory techniques, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, ensuring all instruments are calibrated and functioning properly.
- Document findings in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for efficient data tracking.
- Adhere to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards to maintain quality control.
- Assist in the preparation of reagents, solutions, and cultures as needed for experiments.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in a laboratory setting, particularly in microbiology or related fields.
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques and procedures relevant to scientific research.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
- Knowledge of animal physiology is an asset but not required.
- Proficiency in math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to experiments.
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is preferred but not mandatory.
