Position Summary:
Chemik Hospice Care LLC is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives and strengthen our referral network. This individual will be responsible for driving census growth, building relationships with healthcare professionals, and promoting our hospice services throughout the community. The ideal candidate has a strong healthcare sales background, a deep understanding of the hospice industry, and a passion for compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing and outreach plans to increase hospice referrals and admissions
- Identify and build strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other referral sources
- Represent Chemik Hospice Care LLC at networking events, health fairs, and community outreach programs
- Provide education and presentations to healthcare professionals and the community about hospice services and end-of-life care
- Collaborate with the intake and clinical teams to ensure a smooth referral-to-admission process
- Track sales activities, referral trends, and key metrics using CRM or internal tracking tools
- Provide regular reports and updates to leadership on referral growth and business development opportunities
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and local market dynamics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare sales, preferably in hospice, home health, or senior care
- Proven track record of achieving referral and census growth targets
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines, hospice regulations, and eligibility criteria
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
