What You’ll Do:
As the Corporate Controller, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the month-end close process, preparing consolidated financial statements, managing annual tax compliance, and leading external audits. You’ll also collaborate with internal teams, including Operations, HR, and Legal, to provide vital financial insights that guide key business decisions. Additional responsibilities include:
- Leading the month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations for the CFO’s review.
- Preparing annual tax filings and tax provisions.
- Managing external audits and supporting the completion of audited financial statements.
- Presenting periodic management reports to internal departments.
- Supporting FP&A with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Establishing systems and controls to ensure data integrity and enhance company value.
- Providing support to HR and other departments as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a Corporate Controller who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has strong communication and collaboration skills. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience at a large regional accounting firm, or 5-10 years of progressively responsible experience in full-cycle accounting.
- Active CPA License preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems
- A deep understanding of GAAP and the ability to manage complex financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
