POSITION: Industrial & Utility Herbicide Applicator

Pay Rate:
Salaries: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour ($34,000-$46,000 per year)
*Salary range based position, experience, or qualifications.
**Performance salary increases, bonuses, and other incentives expected.

ChemPro Services offers specialized herbicide applications to a variety of different businesses, industries, and municipalities. For these entities, herbicide applications serve as a necessary maintenance expense. Our services ensure a safe and reliable work environment for all patrons. INDUSTRIAL HERBICIDE APPLICATOR:
- Applicant will travel to service customers in Arkansas and surrounding states.
- Must be handy with equipment and willing to learn how things work.
- Job involves the use of herbicides on a daily basis. Position requires extensive herbicide applications and the need to mix chemicals, spray with low and high volume equipment, and rinse and clean application devices.
- Applicant will have the opportunity to work in various industrial, rural, & natural areas throughout the region.
- Travel for this position is approximately 50% of the time. Travel will fluctuate throughout the year depending on the season, workload, and operational office. Service Technicians are home most all weekends, even during busier times of the year.
- Work weeks will exceed 50 hours during most busy times of year.
GOOD CANDIDATES FOR CHEMPRO WILL HAVE:
· Valid driver’s license & good driving record.
· Commercial driving experience preferred but not required for most ChemPro jobs.
· Herbicide experience not necessary if eager to learn with demonstrated competency.
· Drug Free, which includes pre-employment and random screenings.
· Acceptable background check
· Possess the skills required to perform calibration, programming, and operation of computerized spray equipment.
· Good communication skills; good physical condition; ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Work an irregular schedule and unpredictable schedule changes.
· Competency is a must. Identify and solve problems in the most efficient manner.
· Resolve complex issues independently. Experiment to find creative solutions.
