- Ensure safe and compliant manufacturing and testing of energetic components.
- Drive R&D initiatives for next-generation energetic devices.
- Implement and enforce safety and regulatory compliance (ITAR, AS9100, ATF).
- Work cross-functionally with production, quality, and program management teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Advanced degree preferred).
- 15 years of experience in Aerospace, Defense, or Space industry, focusing on energetics, ordnance, or explosive devices.
- Strong background in initiators, ignitors, actuators, pyro valves, mechanical & electrical fuses.
- 5 years of leadership experience, managing engineering teams in energetics or ordnance.
- Expertise in energetic material handling, pyrotechnic device design, and explosive safety protocols.
- Familiarity with military standards, risk management, and long-term engineering planning.
- Must be eligible under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (ATF clearance required).
- Office-based role with occasional exposure to manufacturing and testing of energetic devices.
- Must be comfortable working around explosives, pyrotechnic systems, and high-energy materials.
- Must comply with ITAR regulations (U.S. Person status required)
