About the Role
As an Account Manager – Metal Working, you will play a key role in expanding our presence in the Chemical Distribution Industry, specifically within the Metal Working sector. You’ll identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and deliver tailored chemical solutions to manufacturers.
What You’ll Do
Grow Business & Revenue – Identify new customers and drive sales in your territory.
Manage Accounts – Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
Consult & Sell – Understand customer needs and provide customized chemical solutions.
Market & Industry Engagement – Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.
Strategic Sales Planning – Work with leadership to develop and execute winning sales strategies.
Deliver Presentations – Showcase our products and services in impactful sales meetings.
What We’re Looking For
Industry Knowledge: Experience in Metal Working and chemical sales is a PLUS!
Sales Expertise: A proven track record of developing business and closing deals.
People Skills: You know how to build relationships and win customers over!
Communication Pro: Excellent verbal & written communication—presentation skills are a must!
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Time Management Ninja: Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects like a pro.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of sales experience in the Metal Working industry (or a strong sales background).
Work & Travel
- Hybrid work environment – office, home, and travel to customer sites (20%-40% overnight travel).
