CMA is hiring a Senior Transportation Engineer to work on Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and Municipal highway / roadway improvement projects. Candidates should be able to efficiently plan and organize his or her workload with their team, demonstrate success working with a team of professionals, a commitment to quality, good communication skills, and a positive work ethic.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the Project Manager on a variety of projects for the design of highways, roads, and intersections for FDOT and local municipalities.
- Serve in a technical role from time to time.
- Potentially serve as the Engineer of Record for projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers.
- Responsible for growing and cultivating business in North Florida, with a primary focus on Northwestern Florida.
- Responsible for the financial and schedule performance of assigned projects.
- BS in Civil Engineering Required, focus on transportation/highways preferred.
- Professional Engineer required, registered and experience in Florida preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with designing highways.
- FDOT and/or North Florida municipal client experience is a plus.
- Experience working in the capacity of the project manager for projects preferred.
- Position will be based in the greater Tallahassee Area.
- MicroStation OpenRoads experience preferred.
- Ability to handle concurrent projects.
