Lifeguard Supervisor- Summer only

The Lifeguard Supervisor at Chenal Country Club will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all pool and aquatic facility patrons during the summer season. This position involves overseeing the lifeguard team, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed, and providing training and support to staff. The supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, addressing any incidents or emergencies that may arise, and fostering a positive atmosphere for guests. Additionally, the Lifeguard Supervisor will collaborate with management to develop and implement safety programs and community engagement activities. Ultimately, this role is vital in promoting a safe and enjoyable experience for all members and guests at the club's aquatic facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Lifeguard Certification from a recognized organization.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Previous experience as a lifeguard or in a supervisory role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a hospitality or recreational environment.
• Knowledge of aquatic safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the lifeguard team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
• Conduct regular training sessions and drills to maintain high standards of lifeguard readiness and response.
• Monitor pool activities and enforce rules to ensure a safe environment for all patrons.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly, providing first aid and coordinating with emergency services as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, staff schedules, and safety inspections, and report to management as required.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
