Chenango Animal Hospital in Binghamton, NY is looking for passionate and dedicated small animal veterinarians to join our team! We are a well established practice that has been serving the community for over 60 years. We are open to part-time or full-time veterinarians.

About Us:

  • The practice is in the eastern edge of Broome County in the beautiful Chenango River Valley. We are surrounded by rolling hills and close to the Fingerlakes region that offers a variety of activities year-round from leisurely wine tours, farmers markets, museums, to hiking and skiing.
  • Fully equipped modern facility featuring digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house Idexx lab equipment for blood & automated urinalysis, surgical laser, and therapeutic laser.
  • Supportive and friendly staff that promotes high-quality care for our patients

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation based on experience and schedule with salaries ranging from $125,000 to $175,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations of small animals to diagnose health issues.
  • Administer vaccinations and medications as needed.
  • Perform surgical procedures and critical care as required.
  • Provide guidance on animal care, nutrition, and husbandry to pet owners.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary regulations.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures and manage laboratory tests when necessary

Requirements

  • New York State veterinary license
  • DEA license

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
