This individual will collaborate with a team of Engineers on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract.

Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company has an exciting career opportunity for a Counter-Countermeasure and Threat Discrimination Engineer, Advanced who will provide systems analysis expertise to develop new Missile Defense System capabilities to identify lethal objects. This individual will collaborate with a team of Engineers on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract.
Responsibilities
- Work within a multi-discipline, multi-source/industry team
- Provide technical analysis, management, and general scientific support to MDA’s Counter-Countermeasures and Discrimination Directorate
- Develop and formulate options for improving the Missile Defense System's discrimination and electronic protection capabilities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required:
- Master's Degree in a STEM field with a minimum of 12 years of experience
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
- Expertise in radar signal processing, scheduling, and object classification
- Expertise in electronic protection
- Prior experience with Systems engineering analysis and process management, including development and review of engineering requirements, concepts of operations, and integrated schedules
- Experience in Technical performance assessments, Risk analysis, and mitigation development
- Experience with Electronic attack/protection modeling development to support analysis and requirements development
- Experience in developing technology maturation plans to transfer potential technologies to program offices
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Knowledge of MDA systems engineering processes
- Knowledge of Missile Defense fundamentals to include radar limitations
- Knowledge of electro-optic fundamentals
- Knowledge of radar hardware and design
- Ability to work independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks, applying engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems.
- In-depth practical and theoretical technical/engineering knowledge.
- Working knowledge of missile defense system components and mission.
- Familiarity with DOD and MDA processes and procedures.
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment while coordinating with multiple organizations and leadership.
- Proficient with Microsoft software applications.
- Ability to execute and complete tasks with no supervision.
- Ability to travel 20-25% to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
