The Facilities Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the Garrison regarding all sustainment and improvement actions involving the DEVCOM HQ buildings.

The Facilities Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the Garrison regarding all sustainment and improvement actions involving the DEVCOM HQ buildings.
Responsibilities
- Daily walk-through of each building to identify problems with building systems/operations, deficiencies on the grounds, general housekeeping issues, and requests by tenants regarding furniture and building operations.
- Daily key control under the DEVCOM Key Control Program, including maintenance of key logs.
- Daily inspections of the building systems and operations and submission and tracking of service orders in the Government ArMA system to remedy.
- Inspect, coordinate, and execute service orders as well as key control, fire prevention, and life health and safety support.
- Primary point of contact for safety and fire prevention actions.
- Submission and tracking of all service orders identified during daily walk-through/inspection or requested by DEVCOM HQ Facilities Chief. All service orders are submitted through the Army Maintenance System (ArMA).
- Quarterly walk-through buildings with the safety team and submit any service orders to remedy the violations as required.
- Serve as a 24/7 primary contact for security and emergency maintenance issues.
- Perform quarterly inspection of ten (10) Automated External Defibrillators.
- Serve as escort for un-cleared visitors as needed.
- Serve as fire prevention monitor to include monthly inspection of forty (40) fire extinguishers and participation in Government Fire Marshall/Inspector inspections and processing of all deficiencies for corrective action, as needed.
- Serve as key control manager for all four DEVCOM HQ buildings, including maintenance of key logs.
- Transport small items via wheeled cart within and between buildings, as needed. These items may include office supplies, packages, small furniture items.
- Clean furniture and perform minor repairs to furniture as needed.
- Complete annual Chenega and DoD required training as required.
- Record labor hours daily in the company’s timekeeping system as required.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Active Class C driver’s license.
- 3 years of experience in facility coordination/management.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Background check required with the ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite Systems, Outlook, Teams, Office, Excel and Word
- Relies on professional experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Identify facility, infrastructure, and structure deficiencies and degradation;
- Ensure service orders are completed timely, and delays are reported to Facilities Chief;
- Escort services provided to all un-cleared visitors;
- Ensure all Fire Inspector deficiencies are resolved;
- Ensure fire extinguishers are operational; Ensure automated external defibrillators (AEDs) are operational.
- Ensure key control logs are maintained
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Maintain a high level of integrity and accountability.
- Possess strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Must have the ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to rely on professional experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Ability to self-start and work independently or as a team.
- Ability to multi-task in a high-stress, performance-based environment.
- Ability to establish priorities and meet established deadlines.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
