This 20 hour a week position shall provide administrative and programmatic support services.
The PHWB provides training and service programs for public health professionals and support the existing workforce in applied health sciences. The Project Coordinator will provide logistical, training coordination services for the didactic and experiential learning activities within the following domains of practice: 1) public health science and practice, 2) analytics and assessment, 3) policy analysis and communication, 4) interpersonal and professional communication, and 5) foundations of leadership.

Responsibilities
PEFP Learner Support
- Coordinate and provide support in evaluating trainings.
- Assist in testing, new audio-visual tools used during training.
- Assist in streamlining training and course development by establishing shared drives for disseminating materials for collaboration.
- Analyze and distribute training evaluations and provide consulting services on training logistics.
- Implement orientation recommendations and provide training logistical activities by collaborating with DSEPD Educators.
- Identify elective courses for Fellows via CDC TRAIN. CDC TRAIN course module is a gateway into the most comprehensive catalog of public health learning products, and CDC University.
- Schedule classes for the trainings.
- Secure instructors for the trainings.
- Serve as liaison and communicate with trainers and seminar speakers on training logistics.
- Populate training calendar (ongoing).
- Request and distribute approximately 30 electronic and paper-training materials annually.
- Schedule rooms for trainings using the CDC room scheduler tool. Trainings typically occur on one of the CDC campuses in Atlanta. Occasionally trainings will be held online or at a local vendor site.
- Communicate with fellows regarding training location, pre-requisites such as downloading software, and readings.
- Develop and populate training related documents such as training evaluations, course summaries, and Standard Operating Procedures (development and modifications). Documents are developed at the request of the CDC lead, SME, and educator(s).
- Coordinate seminars and journal club meetings.
- Coordinates the sets up A/V equipment with A/V support.
- Serves as training proctor and records training attendance.
- Plan logistical activities for the fellow’s graduation ceremony site scheduling, AV setup, certificate production, and coordination of speaker invitations.
- Participate in quarterly conference calls with the Program Manager, COR, and team lead to address concerns, progress, and actions items.
- Assist in the distribution of the PE Fellowship Newsletter.
- Organize and maintain documents placed on the shared drive.
- Assist in maintaining the fellowship and mentor guide/handbook.
- Assist in the development of protocol for what to share on the fellowship SharePoint site.
- Add links for relevant content on SharePoint site.
- Assist in streamlining the onboarding process by implementing tools to encourage electronic capture of materials.
- Support interview and selection process.
- Assist in the logistics, scheduling, correspondence, and interview preparation, and process associated with Fellow Management System application process.
- Analyze, evaluate, and advise on FMS process operations.
- Assist the PEFP staff to implement the Prevention Effectiveness (PE) curricular training and selection activities, including two PE orientations and monthly professional development sessions, periodic didactic trainings, and workshops.
- Assist in maintaining awareness of curriculum requirements with fellows and those who support their development.
- Distribute, collect, and organize “accomplishments reports”.
- Assist in preparation of forms to procure payment for trainers and training supplies.

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
