Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate in-person and virtual meetings for the EIP HAIC, including meetings with internal and external partners. Develop meeting agendas, in collaboration with CDC and EIP site staff, and prepare meeting summaries.
- Provide programmatic and technical support to CDC staff and EIP partners.
- Analyze study or project implementation procedures for improvement.
- Work with program specialists and/or scientists to develop viable implementation procedures and coordinate with staff to make revisions and changes.
- Perform various administrative duties requiring oversight, attention to detail and analysis.
- Perform day-to-day project management tasks to support HAIC projects and ensure objectives are accomplished. Recommend or take corrective action based on technical and programmatic expertise.
- Communicate with internal and external project leaders and partners and respond to requests for assistance.
- Develop and maintain project and product databases, SharePoint sites. Teams, and other approaches (including data visualization tools, where appropriate) to facilitating communication internally and with EIP partners.
- Participate in developing and maintaining public-facing EIP HAIC webpages, in collaboration with CDC communications colleagues.
- Participate with scientists and program consultants in various aspects of project development and evaluation. Activities may include including conducting a search or review of the existing literature and preparing and/or presenting summaries for a variety of purposes.
- Participate in meetings, conferences, and 1-2 site visits to ensure communication and standardization of the interpretation of protocols.
- Master’s Degree
- One (1) Two (2) to years Public Health or similar work experience
- Professional working knowledge within SharePoint
- Professional interpersonal and computer skills, to include but not limited to, skills in operating Microsoft Office software, with emphasis on Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook as well as SharePoint.
- Skills in managing and prioritizing multiple assignments with strict deadlines and ability to coordinate efforts among many offices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
- Expertise to prepare and present information/data via oral briefing(s) and/or by written reports
