Job Summary
Cheney Brothers is looking for hard-working, motivated individuals to join our transportation team.
Job Responsibilities/Requirements
- Safely and efficiently move trailers throughout the yard, and back up trailers to bay doors for loading as directed by Supervisor.
- Requires working outdoors, in inclement weather conditions.
- Requires a CDL – Class A; great opportunity for training with clean driving record.
- Will be required to drive short distances for trailer transfers.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must have a Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain one.
- Must have verifiable employment or explanation for unemployment for the last 10 years.
- Prefer minimum 1 year of driving experience.
- Must be registered with the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and must provide electronic consent.
- Drivers must have a positive, friendly attitude, and possess great customer service skills.
- Use state of the art equipment, tools, and technology.
- Highly competitive pay.
