Summary

In the role of Service Technician, you will assume a pivotal responsibility in the maintenance and repair of garage doors and related systems.

Duties

Basic diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair of garage doors & related products.
Perform preventive maintenance services.
Maintain paperwork and records as necessary.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure satisfactory service.
Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Proven experience working with garage doors and customers

Valid driver’s license

Acceptable MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy

Reliable transportation to and from your base office location

Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Preferred Qualifications

Basic knowledge of construction and hand tools

Mechanical inclination

Schedule

8-hour shifts Monday to Friday

Overtime, weekend, and / or on-call as needed

Some service jobs may require occasional out-of-town travel

Work Conditions

Non-climate-controlled environment – potentially working in all weather conditions.

Frequently sitting, standing, bending, lifting up to 60 lbs.
