Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one with students to guide them through the college application process
- Assist with selecting colleges, understanding admission requirements, and submitting applications
- Help students craft strong application essays and personal statements
- Provide advice on extracurricular activities, resume building, and interview preparation
- Offer support in preparing for standardized tests and managing deadlines
- Advise students and families on financial aid, scholarships, and college options
- Stay informed on admissions trends and specific college requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in [Education, Counseling, or a related field]
- Previous experience in college admissions counseling or college admissions (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of college admissions processes and requirements
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport and connect with students from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
