POSITION OVERVIEW
The Scheduler, Production reports to the Superintendent, Production and is responsible for developing and maintaining short- and long-term schedules for the LNG terminal for feed gas allocation / nominations, refrigerants, and chemicals management as well as product delivery and lifting schedules. The Scheduler, Production will need to work closely with the Production Engineers, Gas Supply, Vendors and Commercial Operations to ensure the smooth, uninterrupted operation of the LNG facility as it relates to items within the remit of this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Gas supply requirements:
- Analyze the current state of the Liquefaction Trains considering maintenance, ambient temperature, capacity restrictions, etc. to determine the required amount of inlet gas and the impact to pre-existing Production Plans.
- Work under supervision in the preparation of all short term and long-term Production forecast and schedules including but not limited to the Five-Year Production Plans, Annual Production Plans, Ninety Day Forecast, Weekly and Daily Gas Supply/Nominations, LNG and Condensate Transportation/Lifting Schedules.
- Communicate with Gas Supply to keep informed about any changes to inlet gas requirements.
Reporting:
- Preparation and delivery of Site Consolidated Weekly Report.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of Site Production Monthly Reports.
- Chemical& Refrigerant Monitoring.
- Assist in the development of the Chemical & Refrigerant Monitoring Program including monitoring and forecasting tools and utilize during operation.
- Provide input into the Annual Budget forecast for chemicals and consumables.
- Monitor refrigerant storage levels of propane, ethylene, and Production Chemicals.
- Track usage to forecast deliveries of Refrigerants and Production Chemicals.
- Plan delivery schedule and strategy for Train startup with operations and refrigerant and production chemicals vendors.
Production Forecasting and Monitoring:
- Responsible for the preparation and timely issue of all assigned Production Forecast reports, as they relate to the Facility production and performance, at frequencies as dictated by the relevant Business Process and Contractual Sales and Use Agreements.
- Provide Forecast daily, weekly, monthly, yearly LNG, and condensate production using multiple scenarios.
- Work with operations, engineering, marine, and commercial to maintain or adjust shipping schedule to ensure cargo volumes are met, and inventory levels do not exceed storage capacity
- Participate in daily strategy planning with Production Management and work to overcome the limitations and deficiencies to ensure targets are met.
- Develop, measure and generate reports against Production KPIs. Maintains databases to monitor the team’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI), prepares and issues all the associated reports.
- Ship Scheduling
- Work with Commercial Operations and Marine Operations to optimize lifting schedule and LNG inventory management.
- Manage changes to the work schedules applying flexibility for delays due to shipping traffic, weather, and any other unforeseen condition that should arise.
- In addition to these duties and responsibilities, the Production Scheduler shall be available to assist other departments as required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Skills:
- Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Access, and PowerPoint with exceptional demonstrable skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Proven ability to proactively and consistently anticipate customer and terminal needs and deliver on time.
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills at all levels of the organization.
- Work assignments are often straightforward and of limited complexity with direct guidance and review from more senior team members. Activities typically follow standard policies, techniques and practices.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education, Training and Certifications: Associates degree with relevant technical discipline and/or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a plus.
Experience:
Associate Scheduler, Production: Zero (0) to three (3) years of Production Operation/Scheduling experience preferably in LNG operations/ pipeline operations / pipeline gathering system and/or plant tailgate type environment or excelling in the provision of administration services in a technical environment including reporting of technical information and managing complex tasks
Scheduler, Production: Minimum of three (3 ) years of Production Operation/Scheduling experience preferably 2 years in LNG operations/ pipeline operations / pipeline gathering system and/or plant tailgate type environment or excelling in the provision of administration services in a technical environment including reporting of technical information and managing complex tasks.

FREEDOM TO ACT
The Scheduler, Production will develop a high degree of aptitude in their field and will require minimal supervision when completing routine activities. As a core contact between the Operations department and the Planning and Scheduling Department, the Scheduler, Production must exercise professionalism when identifying potential problems or evaluating situations and determining solutions, alternatives, recommendations or whether to escalate issues.

- Job is performed at a LNG terminal but is subject to time pressures and constraints and is often dependent on input from others.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work primarily indoors and minimally outdoors, and exposed to year around weather conditions.
- Occasionally, work may be performed from home, after normal work hours or on weekends
- Must be willing to travel to/from off-site facilities for day trips to the corporate office or offsite training.
- Most of the job is performed in a typical office environment, but is subject to time pressures and constraints, and is often dependent on input from others.

- Must be able to board a ship via a gangway, climb to the top of a tank (200 steps), scale vertical steel ladder up to forty feet or more in height, and lift and move objects weighting up to 50 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work indoors and outdoors and exposed to year-round weather conditions, ocean environment, noise, and occasionally process gases and vapors.

- Must maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing status.
