POSITION OVERVIEW
The Coordinator, Facilities Maintenance reports directly to the Supervisor, Facilities Maintenance and will be responsible for coordinating all contractor day-to-day task and labor requirements in order to execute the day to day work assignments safely and efficiently.
The position will act as a liaison between Maintenance and Maintenance Planning department to ensure appropriate resources are identified for proper planning and scheduling of work orders.
Dedication, sensitivity to safety issues and compliance with policies and procedures are essential for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the terminal.
KNOWLEDGE
Broad knowledge of oil and gas industry and practices, including safety, environmental, maintenance, operations, governmental regulations and associated codes and standards.
Knowledge and demonstrated experience with planning, leading or executing industrial maintenance work. Skilled in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Adhere to established work processes and practices. Ensure compliance with the Control of Work processes, including permitting, isolations and risk identification, as well as other Cheniere’s policies and procedures.
- Assist in providing input into development of necessary standards, processes and procedures and ensure that these are applied to all new contractor / labor work assignments
- Assess technical risks and technical challenges and provide and implement appropriate mitigation plans
- Resolve development issues in a timely manner
- Responsible for providing leadership, communication, and coordinating work for employees / contractors by organizing responsibilities and sequencing materials and tasks.
Main tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to : developing and reviewing CMMS plans, prioritize work orders, ordering, receiving and staging materials, schedule resources and organize work assignments.
- Employee ensure scopes of work, budgets, schedules and costs are appropriately controlled
- Direct purchasing and provide guidance and quality assurance in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services to ensure conformity with sound engineering practice and cost-effectiveness.
- Managing contract labor budgets for the current year and forecasting five years out. Will be responsible for approving PO’s up to $10,000.
- Auditing all production paperwork and documentation for functional areas involving contract labor and resources, as well as, providing feedback and corrective action on all errors identified.
- Communicate regularly with Production and all appropriate departments to resolve equipment and resource issues requiring immediate attention and contacts supervisor regarding any problems that occur.
- Employee will have the ability to make decision and correct any issues
- Provide input, documentation, and recommendations to superintendent regarding work performance of employees / contractors.
Good communication and reasoning skills to retrieve information from co-workers and relay information to and from all employee / contractor levels.
- Support the successful execution of outages, monitoring progress and reporting status, identifying potential issues and capturing lessons learned.
- Employee interact with stakeholders to clearly understand their business needs
- Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings and engineering specifications required to perform installation, repairs, maintenance, and training on equipment.
- Performs all duties applying safety protocols and adhering to regulatory mandates.

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS)
- Education and Certifications : Bachelor or Associate degree in engineering preferred or High school diploma, or General Education Development (GED) is required with other relevant technical discipline or acceptable equivalent work experience.
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years plant maintenance experience in related industry or military setting with planning and oversight of contract labor projects, turnaround planning, and major maintenance outages is required.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and personal characteristics of integrity, accountability, and dependability are also required.
Experience with LNG or other cryogenic hydrocarbon liquids experience is a plus. Possess understanding and working knowledge of painting, scaffolding, insulation, elevators, HVAC, chillers, landscaping, grounds, pest control, roads, walkways, signage, plumbing, civil and all equipment maintenance.

Craft Skill - Must be qualified in at least two Crafts :
- Welder
- Mechanic / Millwright
- Electrical / Instrumentation
- Heavy Equipment Operator
- Insulator / Painter
- Scaffold Builder
- HVAC / Chillers
- Must be able to work up to 16 hours per day, weekends, call outs and work flexible shifts

WORK CONDITIONS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, work at height above ground on stairs and catwalks, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear, smell type and write
- Must be able to board a ship via a gangway, climb to the top of a tank (200 steps), scale vertical steel ladder up to forty feet or more in height, lift and move objects weighing up to 30 pounds, crawl into, on, and around towers, furnace, exchangers, and pipe racks
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work indoors and outdoors, and be exposed to year-around weather conditions, ocean environment, noise, and occasionally process gases and vapors.
There is a considerable amount of outdoor activities involved
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations
- Required to pass regularly scheduled physical examinations mandated by regulatory authorities
- Required to obtain mandated certification by attending Company-sponsored training in basic first aid, CPR, and LNG firefighting
- All responsibilities must be met in a rotating shift environment, including holidays, weekends and nights
- Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification
- Credential (TWIC) card issued by the Transportation Security Administration
