Job Description
The Laboratory Technician reports to the Laboratory Supervisor and performs daily activities in the facility. The technician performs analytical tests, ensures accurate results, and understands business objectives so that the facility operates in support of business needs. They also perform non-analytical tasks such as housekeeping and inventory management.
The Laboratory Technician works in a 12-hour rotational shift environment, including holidays, weekends, and nights. They are responsible for maintaining documentation, equipment, and the laboratory in a clean and orderly condition. They must comply with quality assurance and quality control procedures and follow health, environment, and safety policies and procedures.
