We are seeking a Laboratory Technician who will report to the Laboratory Supervisor and perform daily laboratory activities in the facility. The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemistry or a related science field and excellent analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical tests to ensure accurate and timely results for Plant Operations
- Understand business objectives and work to support business needs
- Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and documentation
- Comply with quality assurance and quality control procedures
- Document information by maintaining daily logs and equipment record books
Requirements:
- 2-year associate degree in chemistry, biology, or a related science field
- Minimum of one year of experience in a laboratory setting performing analytical testing
- Ability to multi-task and function in a highly dynamic atmosphere
- Passion for teamwork, respect, accountability, integrity, nimbleness, and above all, safety
