The Center OperationsDirector is responsible for center operations, including centerperformance, scheduling optimization, patient experience and centerculture (turnover / engagement). The incumbent in this role will haveprimary responsibility for day-to-day center operations, includingdirect supervision of employees. The incumbent is accountable forensuring the needs of the center, as well as, its physicians,clinicians, care teams, patients and visitors aremet.

ESSENTIAL JOBDUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • PatientExperience : Enhance the overall patient experience byimplementing best practices and addressing patient feedback toimprove satisfaction.
  • SlotUtilization : Optimize the utilization of availableappointment slots to maximize patient access and operationalefficiency.
  • Slots Quality : Ensure the quality of appointment slots, maintaining a balancebetween availability and the needs ofpatients
  • Available andAccessible : Ensure that the team is readily available andaccessible to all patients, reducing wait times and barriers tocare.
  • Disenrollment : Monitorand manage patient disenrollment rates, identifying and addressingcauses to retain patients and improve continuity ofcare.
  • Orphan Patients : Identify and manage orphan patients (those without assigned primarycare providers) to ensure they receive continuous and coordinatedcare.
  • Center Culture(Engagement) : Cultivate a positive center culture thatpromotes team engagement and a collaborative working environment.Implement initiatives to boost staff morale andengagement.
  • Center WorkforcePlanning : Develop and execute effective workforceplanning strategies to ensure the center is adequately staffed tomeet patient needs and operationaldemands.
  • Onboarding of LineStaff : Oversee the onboarding process for new line staff,ensuring they receive comprehensive training and support tointegrate smoothly into theteam.
  • Teammate Retention(Turnover) : Implement strategies to improve teammateretention and reduce turnover rates. Foster a supportiveenvironment that encourages long-term commitment and careergrowth.
  • Performs otherduties as assigned and modified at manager’sdiscretion.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ANDABILITIES :

  • Ability tobuild relationships. Understands the power of relationships andfosters a culture of collaboration and mutual respect. Build strongconnections with staff, patients, and external partners to enhancethe overall experience.
  • Strong business acumenand acuity with a data driven mindset. Utilizes a data-drivenapproach to inform decision-making. Analyze key performanceindicators and metrics to identify areas for improvement and trackprogress towardsgoals.
  • Team builder.Ability to develop and implement strategies to engage and developteam members. Promote a positive work environment that supportsprofessional growth and high levels of job satisfaction. Goodknowledge and understanding of general Operations standards,functions, methods, techniques, practices, processes andprocedures
  • Understanding of regulatorystandards, various local, state and federal laws that apply to thebusiness and where to find information on standards andinterpretations
  • Excellent critical reasoning,decision-making, and problem-solving skills to analyze situations,determine risks, and find solutions to prevent future issues andresolve recurring defects
  • Strong organizationalskills and attention to details to handle multiple tasks, shortdeadlines, frequent interruptions, and shifting priorities insupport of changing companyobjectives
  • Intermediate working knowledge ofMicrosoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, PowerPointand Outlook, plus a variety of other word-processing, spreadsheet,database, e-mail and presentationsoftware
  • Spoken and written fluency inEnglish
  • This position requires use and exerciseof independentjudgment
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCECRITERIA :

  • BA / BS degreein Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, a BiologicalScience program or a closely related discipline required OR additional experienceabove the minimum may be considered in lieu of the requirededucation on a year-for-year basis required
  • Aminimum of 5 years of related work experience in a medical clinic,hospital setting, or similar environmentrequired
  • A minimum of 3 yearssupervisory / managerial experience in a medical clinic, hospitalsetting, or similarly regulated environmentrequired
