As an Associate Director of Medical Affairs, you will play a crucial leadership role in guiding a dedicated team of primary care providers (PCPs) within our rapidly expanding healthcare model. This position allows you to shape clinical quality and improve patient outcomes while also providing direct patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses, especially in an older adult population.
- Take full responsibility for clinical outcomes while collaborating with specialists and maintaining involvement in patient care.
- Support patients during hospitalization by closely coordinating with hospitalists.
- Lead and mentor your healthcare team, which includes medical assistants and care coordinators, to enhance patient experience.
- Engage with transitional care teams to ensure seamless care for patients unable to visit the office.
- Facilitate weekly Super Huddles and Transforming Care Meetings to ensure high-quality clinical operations.
- Actively participate in managing center operations and contribute to recruitment efforts for both patients and providers.
- Champion performance improvement initiatives alongside Center Operations Directors and Market Managers.
- Conduct leadership rounding and engage in daily operations monitoring to foster strong team dynamics.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as requested by management.
