The successful candidate will be responsible for performing radiographic exams, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Position patients under X-ray machines, adjust immobilization devices, and provide radiation protection.
• Perform a variety of patient care activities, including procedures, EKGs, phlebotomy, and injections.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and store radiological film files.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and adhere to OSHA safety standards.

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited program for Radiological Technology or Basic X-Ray Machine Operator required.
• Minimum 1 year x-ray technologist work experience in a healthcare environment required; 2 years preferred.
• Licensed and/or certified if required by state regulations.
• EMR system experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required within first 90 days of employment.
