Cherish-Hospice is seeking an on the road STNA Hospice Aide in the Canton Area. As a hospice aide, you will enhance the patient's quality of life by directly providing personal care and related services.
STNA Hospice Aide Responsibilities:
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Cherish-Hospice is seeking an on the road STNA Hospice Aide in the Canton Area. As a hospice aide, you will enhance the patient's quality of life by directly providing personal care and related services.
STNA Hospice Aide Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care according to the patient’s needs. Carry out the duties assigned to increase the patient’s level of comfort, and to maintain personal hygiene and a safe environment for the patient.
- Care provided is in accordance with an established plan of care and under the supervision of a RN.
- Observe the patient, report observations and document observations and care performed.
- Document the care provided and the patient’s response to care in accordance with policies and procedures and regulatory standards.
- Provide timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care.
- Adhere to Company policies and procedures and regulatory compliance requirements and directives.
- Travel as necessary (up to 50% of the time) to service patients in their residence of care, which includes home, assisted living facilities, long term care facility, and hospital.
- STNA License (Required)
- Driver's License (Required)
- Hospice experience (Preferred)
- Geriatrics experience (Preferred)
- Hospice and Palliative Medicine (Preferred)
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
