SCHEDULE
The weekly schedule for this position may flex slightly, however will generally be as follows.
You will be allotted an unpaid 30 minute lunch break daily.
Monday and Tuesday : 9 AM - 6 PMWednesday : OFFThursday : 10 AM - 6 PMFriday : 9 AM - 6 PMSaturday : 9 AM - 4 PMPOSITION
The lot attendant / porter will assist with receiving new shipments, ensure all accessories are included, move and arrange vehicles to optimize space.
To ensure success you need to be accountable and employ prudence in performing your duties in a fast paced work environment.
Top candidates are proficient multitaskers, organized, and can perform to a high level of accuracy while maintaining service excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet showroom customers and determine the nature of their visitAnswer basic customer inquiries and refer more extensive questions to the appropriate personMove and park cars on the lotKeep track of inventory and location of vehicles, update systems as necessary to reflect current locationMake sure lot is neat and presentable, cars parked nicely, etc.Driving and handling all cars responsibly to ensure damage prevention, and protecting dealership property at all timesIdentify and seek out any issues or potential problems with vehicles and work to get them resolvedEnsure all vehicles are 'test drive' ready and checklist items are complete on all vehiclesEnsuring the cleanliness of the interiors and exteriors of cars on the lotDriving off-site to run dealership errands when requiredAffixing dealership license plates to all vehiclesBattery jump start cars on occasionInforming supervisor of issues as they arisePrinting and placing vehicle window stickers in all vehicles available for saleMaintain clean and presentable work areaMaintain proper key inventory, resolving issues for any missing keysTake preliminary and final pictures of vehicles for company marketing / websiteComplying with all company policies and proceduresOther tasks as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS

Valid Maryland driver's license and clean driving recordWorking knowledge of basic car maintenance preferredWillingness to work irregular business hours including evenings, weekend, and holidaysWillingness to learn and to perform a wide range of allocated tasksTechnically savvy, ability to use computer systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOutstanding organizational skills, ability to problem solveThe ability to lift at least 40 pounds or moreAbility to drive manual transmission preferredSpanish speaking a plusPrevious experience as a car porter, valet attendant, or similarNote : we may be looking for 1 full time and 1 part time employee for this role, so if this schedule does not exactly match what you are looking for you are still encourage to apply.Both roles however will be required to work on Saturday.
