CDL Truck Driver

Job Summary :

The CDL Truck Driver is a critical member of the shipping and receiving operations team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and straight trucks, to deliver bricks and resale items to customer job sites and commercial yards. Deliveries require using a truck-mounted forklift to unload materials as directed by customers or job site supervisors. Additionally, the CDL Truck Driver will transport production materials from suppliers to the company's production plant using a commercial tractor with a dump trailer or a tandem dump straight truck.

• Operate company-owned and leased commercial trucks in a safe and alert manner.
• Facilitate the delivery, pickup, and relocation of brick products and materials.
• Conduct required pre-, during- and post-operation inspections and maintenance and complete related reports.
• Deliver exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Operate material handling equipment effectively.
• Maintain certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and company safety programs.
• Safeguard and maintain company property in excellent condition.
• Adhere to FMCSA, DOT, and state regulations.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support and improve team operations.
