Responsibilities
- Oversee the fine dining venue's daily operations, including inventory management, food and beverage costs, labor, and operating budgets.
- Ensure the highest standards of products are served and provide exceptional guest service while promptly addressing concerns.
- Provide leadership to staff while fostering a positive, cooperative work environment.
- Interview, hire, train, and orient new team members for their roles.
- Evaluate job performance and create performance improvement plans.
- Develop efficient departmental schedules to optimize labor costs.
- Manage the restaurant's budget, controlling costs and maximizing revenue while analyzing financial reports.
- Order supplies, maintain par stocks, and ensure accurate inventory levels to minimize food and beverage waste.
- Conduct group and individual training on policies, procedures, food and beverage choices, equipment, and service standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop creative and profitable menus.
