Job Description

Cherokee Casino Grove is hiring a Security Supervisor to play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests and employees. This position involves supervising security personnel, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with all safety and security protocols.

NOTE : This position is considered safety-sensitive and is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing. Please note that a positive drug test result, including for marijuana, may result in a job offer being rescinded for applicants or termination of employment for current employees, even if they possess a valid medical marijuana license.

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct the work of security personnel, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance.
Ensure the safety and security of all guests, employees, and property.
Prevent and respond to incidents effectively and efficiently.
Conduct security checks and patrols throughout the assigned areas.
Monitor surveillance systems and respond to alarms.
Investigate incidents and prepare accurate and detailed reports.
Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with guests, employees, and other departments.
Ensure compliance with all CNE security policies and procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed.
Conduct safety training and drills for security personnel.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in a related field (e.g., Criminal Justice, Security) preferred.

1 year of experience in a security or law enforcement role.

CPR and First Aid certification required.

Completion of State of Oklahoma Council of Law Enforcement Education and Training or equivalent.

Possession of a valid State of Oklahoma CLEET armed security guard license.

Possession of a valid Cherokee Nation Armed Security Officer license.

Working knowledge of firearms and defensive tactics.

Experience with surveillance systems and chain of evidence procedures.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to make sound judgments and respond effectively to emergencies.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Ability to work in a casino environment, which may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.

Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
