*Graduation from an accredited law school
*Member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
Prosecution of Misdemeanor cases, including Class "C" misdemeanors in Justice of the Peace Courts; Prosecution of Child Protective Service cases and Adult Protective Service cases; Prosecution of Protective Orders; Prosecution of Juvenile Cases; Prosecution of Mental Health Commitments; Legal Research and Brief Preparation for any appeals taken from cases the County Attorney's office handles; preparation of Legal Documents; limited Civil Trial Litigation; Provide legal opinions to County Officials and Department Heads.
