Position Summary
Engages in records management, data entry and secretarial duties.
Essential Functions of the Job
· Performs data entry
· Manages department social media applications
· Provides public relations
· Responds to and answers questions from other county officials/departments and government agencies
· Operates fax/copy machine
· Maintains computer files and updates
· Document filing, storage and retrieval
· Record searches for other government agencies
· PID maintenance
Additional duties and responsibilities
· Additional duties as directed by supervisor
· Assists other employees with computer/software skill training
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required to Perform the Essential Functions
· Knowledge of phone system
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Knowledge of filing systems, record retention schedules destruction procedures
· Ability to type and word process
· Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete assignments
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments and the public
· Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
The person in this position may remain in a stationary position 90% of the work day.
- Frequently operates a computer, computer printer and other office equipment.
- Occasionally communicates with coworkers and the general public. Must be able to communicate effectively in these situations.
- Occasionally positions self to bend or reach above head to move office materials or other objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Frequently moves about the office to access files and office machinery.
- Work is performed indoors.

Recommended Minimum Qualifications
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Some college preferred
· Ability to manage department social media applications.
· Office experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $15.60 per hour
